Give the Eyk team access to your Shopify admin so they can set up server-side tracking for your store. Shopify grants this access through a collaborator request, which you can revoke at any time.

Before you start

You need:
  • Access to your Shopify admin.

Open Settings

In Shopify admin, click Settings in the bottom left.

Open Users and permissions

In the menu on the left, click Users and permissions.

Copy the collaborator request code

Scroll down to the Collaborators section and copy the 4-digit Collaborator Request Code.

Share the code with Eyk

Share the collaborator request code with your contact person at Eyk. The Eyk team then sends you a collaborator request.

Review the collaborator request

You receive a notification of the new collaborator request from Eyk. Go to Users and permissions again, scroll down to the Collaborators section and click Review request.

Add two store permissions

On the page with the Eyk collaborator details, add two permissions:
  1. Under Online store, also tick Themes and Edit code.
  2. Under Store settings, also tick View customer events and Manage and add custom pixels.

Accept the request

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Accept request.

After these steps, the Eyk team has the access it needs to set up server-side tracking for your Shopify store.
